Martha T. Bunzey

Martha T. Bunzey, 91, of Vestal and Endicott, New York, passed away on March 9, 2026 at Mercy House. Born on December 18, 1934 to the late Martha and Joseph Murphy, she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose quiet strength and caring nature touched everyone who knew her.

A retired nurse who spent many years at UHS, Martha found simple joy in tending her yard and losing herself in a good book. She was predeceased by her children Michael Bunzey and Bonnie Decker, her sisters Marie Tzivanis and Frances Crotsley, and her brother Joseph Murphy.

She is survived by her children Joelene (Charles) Carey, Timothy (Linda) Bunzey, Deborah (Tony) Evans, daughter-in-law Susan Bunzey, son-in-law Dana Decker, her sister JoAnn Condon, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward the love and values she so gently instilled in them.
