Martha Sprayberry Eddington

Martha Nell Sprayberry Eddington, age 82, of LaFayette, passed away on March 13, 2026. A lifelong resident of her beloved hometown, she retired after many years of dedicated service with Roper Corporation. Martha found joy in life’s simple pleasures, particularly her trips to the casino where she loved playing the slot machines. An avid animal lover, she held a special place in her heart for pets and all creatures, a passion that reflected her gentle and joyful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Sprayberry, and her sister, Annette Sprayberry.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Leah (Jason) Edwards; her grandson, Canyon Mantooth; her sister, Billie Caheely; her nieces, Donna (Ricky) Jones, Shann Nave, and Allison (Stuart) Clair; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Her deep connection to LaFayette, her warm personality, and her love for animals will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
