Martha Lucille Ivey

Martha Lucille Williams Ivey, age 96, of Grand Bay, Alabama, passed away on March 12, 2026 at her residence. She was born on January 25, 1930, in Carrollton, the daughter of the late Charles Monroe Williams and Clastelle Horsley Williams.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William Stanley Ivey, her sisters Barbara Gibson, Billie Brittain, Hazel Jacobs, Pat Vaughn, Aliece Smith, and Clara Williams, her brothers Delmer Williams and Dudley Williams, and her sons Keith Ivey and Bobby Ivey.

She is survived by her children, Jean Stewart of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ron Ivey of Grand Bay, Alabama; her grandchildren, John Stewart, Dean Ivey, Chris Ivey, Shawnna Ramm (Jason), and Victoria Schuster (Billy); her great-grandchildren, Tiffany Ramm, Zaccary Ramm, and Taylor Nix; and her brother-in-law, Donald Brittain.

Martha lived a long and full life, cherished by her family and remembered for the quiet strength and love she gave to those around her.
