Marsha Diane Osekowski

Marsha Diane Osekowski, 70, of Oakland, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on October 12, 1955, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Russell Thomas and Margaret Grace (Rodeheaver) Shank.

A proud graduate of Southern High School, Marsha later moved to northern Virginia, where she completed her studies at the Computer Learning Center in Alexandria. She began her career with Kay Jewelers in Old Town Alexandria, then worked for Micro Integration in Friendsville before joining the Maryland State Police at the McHenry Barracks. She served as office manager there for more than 15 years. In her later years, she found purpose in property management for several lake properties.

Marsha will be remembered as a proud and loving mother whose warmth and presence left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas A. Osekowski; her son, Logan Osekowski; her sisters, Barbara Johnson, Linda Riley, and Brenda Buser; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Shank and Edward Shank.
