Marsha Ann Zwernemann

Marsha Ann Zwernemann, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born on March 28, 1940, in Houston, Texas, to Emily Rillion and Ralph Roland Robertson, Marsha spent her 85 years filling the world with kindness and an unwavering dedication to her family. She was the proud matriarch of her family and a fierce prayer warrior whose faith guided every step she took. She loved Jesus deeply and she loved Elvis too, a combination that perfectly captured her joyful, fun-loving spirit and the light she carried into every room. Her days were shaped by prayer, concern, and boundless devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Emily Rillion and Ralph Roland Robertson, and her two brothers, Roland Robertson and Michael Robertson.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Edward Zwernemann, her partner in love and life for 65 wonderful years, whom she loved with her whole heart. She is also survived by her daughters, Rhonda Pye and husband Reese, Robin Gutierrez and husband Robert, and Renee Zwernemann. She was blessed with five grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life: Ashlee Burns and husband Chris, Preslee Johnson and husband Beau, Maycee Pye and partner Trent Miller, Meagan Travis and husband Jonathon, and Ryan Gutierrez. Marsha was also a proud great-grandmother to Hunter Burns, Brynlee Burns, and Ellie Travis, with one more precious blessing on the way, Baby Girl Travis, arriving in April. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each carrying forward the lessons she taught and the deep importance she placed on family.
