Marlys Van Winkle of Appleton passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Appleton Area Health at the age of 90.
She was a longtime resident of Appleton whose life touched many in the community she called home for decades. Known for her quiet strength and steadfast faith, Marlys remained active in her church and maintained deep connections with family and friends throughout her life.
She leaves behind loved ones who will remember her gentle spirit and the many ways she enriched their lives. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton, with burial in the Appleton Cemetery.
