She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bolton Jackson and Willie Mae Jackson; her sisters, Charlene Wilbanks and Sharon Rollins; and her granddaughter Courtney Denise Pitt.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Pitt (Michelle) of Mineral Wells, Mike Pitt (Nerissa) of Many, Louisiana and Debra Denise Pitt Olah of Many, Louisiana; and her siblings, Sue Potter of Elmer, Louisiana and Charles Jackson (Connie) of Florien, Louisiana. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Little Flock Baptist Church (1805 Little Flock Rd, Many, LA 71449). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
