Marla Jeane (Lackey) Tyndall, 77, of Muskogee, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Muskogee. Born on June 28, 1948, in San Bernardino, California, to Ivan Jay and Billye (Starkey) Lackey, she was a proud graduate of the Muskogee High School Class of 1967. Marla lived in Oklahoma and Texas throughout her life, making her home in Muskogee for 47 years, Waco, Texas for 12 years, and Tulsa for 18 years.
She dedicated 30 years to a career in sales at Toys "R" Us, retiring in 2008. A faithful member of Outdoor Life Community Church, Marla cherished worship and fellowship with her church family. She found joy in bowling as a regular in the senior morning league, as well as in her creative pursuits as a seamstress, coloring on her tablet, and traveling. She took great delight in her collections of owls, gnomes, and Native American dolls, and maintained a lifelong love of Elvis. Above all, she was devoted to her family, remembered as an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth, care, and devotion touched everyone who knew her.
Marla is now reunited with her parents, Ivan Jay Lackey and Billye Jean (Starkey) Lackey, and her sister, Debbie.
