Mark R. Hornback, 60, of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Massac Memorial Hospital.
Mark was a talented jack of all trades who took great pleasure in building furniture. His practical skills and creative hands brought comfort and beauty to those around him.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Hornback, Justin Hornback (Paige), and Jessica Hornback (Tyler); his grandchildren, Evan, Brodi, Kylee, Kaydence, Raelynn, and Colsen Hornback, and Bryer Duncan; his brothers, Danny Hornback (Kris) and Bobby Hornback; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Hornback; his wife, Rachelle Hornback; and his brother, Paul Hornback.
