He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesús Everardo Castañeda Gómez and Vivian Ruth Kirkham (Gómez); his wife Glenda Gómez; his daughters, Larisa Paige (Philip), Andriana Gómez and Bria Burton (Brian); his grandchildren, Eliana Paige, Annabelle Paige and Luke Burton; and his siblings, Everardo Gómez (Elizabeth), Elena Bowers (David), Alicia Fadenrecht (Warren), Marita Cox (Les), Gabe Gómez (Chris) and Angelia Welty (Will). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stevens Creek Church (600 Stevens Creek Rd, Martinez, GA 30907).
