Mark Earnest Warg, 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born on January 25, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Earnest Warg and Catherine Jardine.
Mark served in the Army during Vietnam and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. A lifelong musician, gardener, and woodworker, he was known for his love of guitar, classical music, poetry, and mystery novels. He worked with wood throughout his life and kept a thriving organic garden each year, taking great joy in the harvests it produced.
He is survived by his wife Melanie Meuse-Warg; his sister Judy McNamee and her son Phillip McNamee; his children Tristan and Adrienne Warg, Annamieka and Kyle Crosland, Holly and Tate McSwain, and Mira Warg and Michael White; and his grandchildren Egan Crosland, Fiona Crosland, Emma McSwain, Ronan Warg, and William McSwain.
Mark will be remembered for his gentle spirit, deep love of nature, and the quiet warmth he shared with his family.
