Mark E. Masci

Mark E. Masci, 50, of Newport News, Virginia, formerly of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born in Upland, he was raised in Glenolden and had made his home in Newport News for the past ten years. A graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1994, Mark earned certification from the Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting. He worked as a surgical assistant at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital and previously at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.

Mark found great joy in golfing, fishing, and camping. He especially cherished his time spent at The Cove Community on the bay of Chincoteague Island.

He is survived by his father, Gene Masci; his wife, Jennifer Roach Masci; his children, Evan, Morgan, and Olivia Masci; and his brothers, Michael Masci (Christine) and Matthew Masci (Jacqueline). He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret M. Picciotti Masci.
