Mark E. Kazimer, age 73, of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the Louis V. Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland. Born on November 30, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of the late William J. Kazimer and Arvadia Ruth (Elliott) Kazimer. A lifelong resident of Newton Falls, Mark graduated from Newton Falls High School with the Class of 1971. He then served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1972.

In 1998, Mark married the love of his life, Judy Lynn Johnson. The couple shared 27 devoted years together. He worked for 13 years as a cabinet maker at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield, retiring in 2014. A longtime member of St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mark found joy in performing autobody work on cars and tending to his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, James and Debbie Kazimer.

Mark is survived by his wife, Judy; stepdaughters Elizabeth O’Malley of Newton Falls and Michelle Chicko of Newton Falls; stepsons Tim O’Malley of California and David Alicea and his wife Diana of Toledo, Ohio; his sister Jane Simpson and her husband Bruce of Mukilteo, Washington; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
