Marjory Carol Coker of Vermillion, South Dakota, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she lived a life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Spencer George and Mary George (Thayer), her husband Howard, and her sister Katharine Thayer. Marjory is survived by her children, Jon Coker (Kay) of Rochester, Minnesota, Mary Kay, Steve Coker (Julie) of Lantana, Texas, and Tim Coker (Shana) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her siblings, Phyllis Kirkwood of Newberg, Oregon, Gil George (Louise) of White Rock, New Mexico, John George (Anita) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Joel George of Redmond, Oregon, Eunice Robb (Steve) of Olympia, Washington, and Warren George (Peggy) of Corvallis, Oregon; her grandchildren, Drew, Brendan (Claire), Erin, Jackson, Cameron, Emma Grace, Amelia Charis Coker, and Dara Taylor (Harrison); and her great-grandchild Auden.
She will be remembered with love by the many lives she touched across the generations.
