Marjorie Ferrin ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 8, 2026.Marjorie Lucille (Daniel) Ferrin, of Springfield, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord on March 5 at Maranatha Village. She was born April 17, 1934, in Denver, Colorado, to James and Thelma Daniel.Marjorie grew up in Denver surrounded by a large Swedish extended family who played an important role in shaping the warmth and faith that defined her life. Her first moment in the spotlight came early when, at just two years old, she sang for the renowned evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman. Music would remain one of the great threads of her life.A gifted pianist, Marge eventually turned her attention to the organ and quickly fell in love with it. As a teenager she met her future husband, Paul, while playing piano and organ duets. This lasted nearly seventy years, until Paul's passing. Theirs was a love story that only Heaven could write. No man ever had a better wife. After graduating high school, Marge attended CBI in Springfield, Missouri, just next door to the home where she would later spend her final years. She and Paul soon married and what an amazing life and ministry they had together that took them across the country, serving in Colorado, Kansas, Tennessee, California, and North Carolina before eventually returning to their beloved home state of Colorado for many years.Wherever they lived, Marge made a house feel like home. She was known for her hospitality, her incredible cooking, and her warm, welcoming spirit. Countless friendships were formed around her table, and many cherished memories were made over meals prepared with love. Her home was always beautiful, and she carried herself with the grace and class that everyone who knew her remembers.Throughout her adult life, Marge was a devoted Bible teacher and often served as a wedding planner within her church. One of her greatest joys was mentoring the wives of ministers across the nation. The Word of God was her passion, and her love for Jesus shaped every part of her life.Above all, Marge loved her family fiercely. She was the best kind of mother, praying for her children faithfully and teaching them right from wrong with both conviction and love. Many wonderful memories were made with each person in her family. She gave unconditional love to each of them and remained their biggest cheerleader through every season of their life. She was affectionately known as the matriarch of the family, the one who kept everyone connected and the glue that held it all together. And while she loved deeply, she never minded beating you at games-especially Scrabble.Marjorie truly lived well, laughed often, and loved deeply. The relationships she built and the memories she created will continue to bless those who knew her for generations. She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Richard and Peggy Daniel; her sister in law and brother in law, Claudia and Leo Muniz; her four children: Kathryn (Louie) Salazar of Carlinville, Illinois; Diane Ferrin of Colorado Springs; Kent (Kathy) Ferrin of Memphis, Tennessee; and Kevin (Debra) Ferrin of Nashville, Tennessee; along with nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; her parents; and her siblings, Agnes Ambrosius and David Daniel. We rejoice knowing she is home with Jesus. And if Heaven needed an organist, we're certain Marge has already filled the role-organ shoes and all.Her care has been entrusted with Greenlawn Funeral Home North.Legacy.com reports daily on death announcements in local communities nationwide.
