Marjorie June Duchi

Marjorie June (Hayduk) Duchi, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Kane on March 6. She was born in Kane on March 2, 1932, the daughter of Marion (Ward) and John Hayduk. She attended Kane Area High School and in October, 1951, she married Farry "Duke" Duchi, who preceded her in death. They had a daughter, Toni, who resides in State College, PA.Marjorie worked for many years at Stackpole Carbon Company in Johnsonburg, and later at Clarion Sintered Metals in Ridgway. After retirement, she moved back to Kane, where she has lived for more than a decade.She is survived by three siblings: Larry Hayduk, Pearl Taylor, and Audrey Marshall, all living in Kane. Many nephews and nieces also survive. She was preceded in death by several siblings: Eugene, Verna, Kathryn, Ronald, Curtis, Robert, Dorothy, and Joseph.A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed immediately by a short prayer service, at Cummings Funeral Home in Kane, PA.
