Dane/Waunakee - Marjorie (Marge) J. Tesar , age 90, died on March 8, 2026. She was born on October 25, 1935 in East Bristol, WI to Alvin and Estelle (Derr) Weber. She married Marcus Pulvermacher on August 20, 1955 and he proceeded her in death on June 30, 1971. She married Harvey Tesar on May 21, 1977 and he proceeded her in death on January 26, 2013.
Marge was Vice President of Pulvermacher and Sons Excavating Co and ran the family busy after Marcus unexpectedly passed away. She later was employed at Suby Von Haden and Associates from which she retired in 1999. She was a member of St Martins Church, Martinsville. She enjoyed baking bread, including home-made cinnamon rolls, crocheting baby blankets and embroidering pillow cases. Some of her favorite memories were of her travels abroad with her brothers and sister-in-laws.
Survivors include her six children, James (Mary) Pulvermacher, William (Judy) Pulvermacher, Mary (Francios Raab) Pulvermacher, Thomas (Toni) Pulvermacher, Michael (Lori) Pulvermacher, Julie (David) Dresen; 15 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Florence Hellenbrand, Ann (Glenn) Johnston, Janette Ryan, Barbara Pulvermacher, and Diane Maertz, and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alvin and Estelle Weber, husbands Marcus Pulvermacher and Harvey Tesar, her brothers and sister-in-laws Leon (Rosie) Weber, Orin (Marion) Weber and Eugene Weber; father-in-law and mother-in-law Florian (Henrietta) Pulvermacher, in-laws Gerald (Alice) Pulvermacher, Walter (Alice) Pulvermacher, Norman (Alice) Pulvermacher, John (Bernadette) Pulvermacher, Sylvester Pulvermacher, Marilyn Pulvermacher, George Pulvermacher; father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles (Margaret) Tesar, in-laws Lawrence Tesar, Kenneth Tesar, Clifford (Loretta) Tesar, and Evelyn Hinderleider; and other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., March 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St Martin’s Catholic Church 5959 St Martin Circle in Martinsville. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Marge was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and will be dearly missed.
