Marjorie Ellen Carlson

Marjorie Ellen Carlson, 85, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away on March 7, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1940, in Glassboro, New Jersey.

A woman of deep faith, Marjorie was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked for many years as Secretary of the Educational Board in Wildwood, New Jersey. In 1971, she married the love of her life, George Carlson, and together they made their home in Florida in 2000.

Marjorie found joy in creating intricate works of art through paper tole and in gathering with family and friends for games of dominoes. She is remembered as a loving and creative soul who cherished her family deeply.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George Carlson; her son, Guy Carlson; stepchildren John Henry Carlson, Daniel Carlson, and Susan Carlson; her sister, Joanne Leonard; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
