She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Brooks and Vera Brooks (Smith); her brother Gene Brooks (Louise); her grandson Bradley Cook; and her son-in-law Rick Roberts Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael Metzger, Patricia Murrell (Metzger), Timothy Carrier, Kimberly Christilaw (Carrier) and Laura Roberts (Mosher); her grandchildren, Allen Carl Metzger, Melissa Fryman (Robert), Michelle Murrell, Tyler Metzger, Corbin Carrier and Chelsea Kruis (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Dominic Metzger, Kennedy Fryman and Athena Kruis; and her sibling's children, Cindy Brooks and Randy Brooks.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Ridge Funeral Home (88 E Division St, Sparta, MI 49345). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
