With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Bunch Stephenson (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bunch and Alice Ruth Bunch; her siblings, Edna Hayes, Frances Moore and Haywood Bunch; and her grandson-in-law Cody Bogdanowicz.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Stephenson; her daughter Kim Maples; her grandchildren, Kristina Bogdanowicz, Kathryn Maples and Kourtney Maples; her great grandchild Troy Wilburn; her sister Veta Melton (First); and her niece Kathy Sykes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Park & Mitchell Funeral Home (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
