Marjorie Ann Hybsha

Marjorie Ann Hybsha

January 17, 1930 March 8, 2026

Enid, OK

Marjorie Hybsha was born on January 17, 1930, five miles east of Medford, Oklahoma, on her father’s homestead. The oldest sibling of three brothers—Leon, Kenneth, and Don—she grew up helping on the family farm, where she took on the responsibility of guiding her younger brothers and ensuring their chores were completed. She graduated from Medford High School in 1947.

In 1949, Marjorie married the love of her life, Robert Fredrick Hybsha. The couple settled in Renfrow, Oklahoma, and later moved to Stillwater, where they raised their four children: Patty, Kathy, Allen, and Brian. Marjorie worked for ten years at Braum’s, earning multiple awards for “Top Store” in the company. The family eventually moved to Enid, where she managed an apartment complex for several decades. The residents there affectionately called her “Grandma Marjorie.”

Marjorie’s life was defined by hard work and quiet dedication. In her free time, she found joy in dancing, cheering for OSU athletics and Thunder basketball, and especially in the visits of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hybsha; her parents, Lou and Alice Soper; and her brothers, Leon, Donny, and Kenneth Soper. She is survived by her children, Patty (Loren) Mennem, Kathy (Aaron) Harrell, Allen (Camy) Hybsha, and Brian (Amy) Hybsha; thirteen grandchildren, Brad, Leslie, Kent, Austen, Trevor, Caley, Chase, Joni, Brady, Courtney, Mindy, Shelly, and Justin; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
