She was born on July 8, 1933, in Maywood, IL to George and Sue Krauss.Marion was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She shared 52 loving years of marriage with her beloved husband, Clifford, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and cherished traditions.Marion had a deep love for travel and adventure. She especially treasured her cruises to Alaska, where she delighted in the beauty of nature and the wonder of exploring new places. Closer to home, some of her happiest moments were spent with family at their lake house in North Carolina, where laughter and memories were made for generations.A woman of strong faith, Marion faithfully attended weekly quilting gatherings at her church, where her hands created beautiful works of art and her heart formed lasting friendships. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.Marion was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sue;and her husband, Clifford.She is lovingly survived by her son, Don (Pam); her grandchildren, Brian Volland (Lindsey) and Heather Schreck (Adam); her great-grandchildren, Norah, Liam, Emma, and Abby; and her brother, Marvin Krauss (Doris). Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in each of them.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hopeful Lutheran Foundation.Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hopeful Lutheran Church, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Clearwater, FL.Marion will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle spirit, creative hands, and unwavering love for her family.
