Marion June (Martin) Grenier1935-2026Chicopee – Marion June (Martin) Grenier, 90, formerly of Chicopee, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday March 2, 2026, at the Pioneer Valley Rehab, in South Hadley.Marion was born June 24, 1935, to Sheridan Paul and Lillian Irene (Sturges) Martin. Marion was employed for many years as a machine operator at Denison and Avery, formerly National Blank Book, in Department 26 where she retired in 1996 after 28 years of service.Marion was a member of the former St. George Church in Chicopee. She had many interests over the years including reading, drawing, bingo, bowling, attending weekend tag sales, going to the beach and eating lobster, visits from her family, listening to classic country music, her pet stuffed kitty and the few years she spent as a foster parent.Marion was predeceased by her husband, Marcel J. Grenier in 1991; her son, Rene M. Grenier; her siblings, Joseph, Richard and Robert Martin and Augusta Paquette, Glenna LaBrake, Shirley Bevans and Margaret Martin and grandson, Tyler Maggiolino.She is survived by her children, Paul J. Grenier and his wife Debbie of Athol, Suzanne I. Roy of Colorado Springs, Sandra J. Wilhelm and her husband Frankie of Granby, MA, Roger A. Grenier and his wife Shelly from Hatfield, Michelle R. Grenier and her partner, Lester of Wilbraham; her sisters, Betty Hotte of Chicopee and Cora Prime and her husband Warner of Vermont; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Phillip, Joseph, James, Megan, Myles and Sheena; many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Saturday March 28th from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA, followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow privately for the family at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee.Memorial donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Home Office, Mass Chapter, 225 N.
