Marion Dietrich ObituaryVisit the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel website to view the full obituary.Marion Doloris Dietrich, 95, of Greenville, SC, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 4, 2026.Born in Bloomfield, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frank John Pruner and Agnes Kacsmarsik Pruner.Marion was a vibrant soul with a passion for gardening, visiting garage sales, and hunting for antiques. She had an adventurous spirit that carried her through life, always eager to explore new places, foreign and domestic. Spending three weeks in Egypt visiting the pyramids and other ancient sites was her favorite and most memorable time while traveling abroad. She loved to read and found joy in painting and sketching landscapes. Marion's heart was filled with music, especially the sounds of cowboy legends like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash, which brought a smile to her face. Marion also had a special fondness for dollhouses, carefully crafting and decorating each room with intricate detail.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Francis Pruner, Leo Pruner, Eugene Pruner, James Pruner and Agnes Pruner Kearns.She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Dan Dietrich; three children, Dan Dietrich (Kim), Father John Dietrich and Carol Norback Whitaker; eight grandchildren, Mark, Annie, Wendy, John, Amy, Michael, Sarah, and Daniel; eleven great-grandchildren, Austin, Brooke, Taylor, Landon, Emily, Piper, Beau, Emma, Hazen, Abigail and Malcolm.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at M.J.
