Marion Cooper

Marion Cooper, age 81, of Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, Arkansas. Born on August 4, 1944, in Sparkman, Arkansas, she was the beloved daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Tuberville) Stevens.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cooper; her son, William Paul Cooper; two grandsons, David Owens and Terry “Bub” Cooper; and one great-grandchild, Marion is survived by her three devoted sons, Charles Cooper, Raymond Cooper, and Russell Cooper (Tina), as well as her daughter-in-law, Becky Cooper (Paul). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends, including her close friends Katlyn Schutt and Bobbie Chesney.

A remarkable mother and grandmother, Marion was known for her caring nature and warmth. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome, and family was at the very heart of her life.
