He was predeceased by: his siblings, Geraldine Siegel, Charlotte Mooney of Richard Scibetta, MD and Louis Scibetta; his grandchildren, Emanuel Evan Kaffenes and Maurya Kathryn Allen; and his parents, Angeline Palmisano and Samuel Louis Scibetta, MD.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Wood Scibetta; his children, Jeffrey Scibetta, Ellen Kaffenes (Evan), Lisa Scibetta (Kirk Allen), Caroline Scibetta (John Schulze) and Kathleen Scibetta (Timothy George); his grandchildren, Eleni, Ekaterina, Anastasia Kaffenes, Arete Jackson (Tanner), Emily (Patrick Waring), Marianna Allen, Charlotte (Thomas McLaren), Deane, Briggs (Adrian), Grace Twitchell, Mia, Nathan and Katherine George; his great grandchild Mickey Antonio Twitchell; and his caregiver Eleanor Jane Wood.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Cathedral (230 W 10th St, Erie, PA 16501).
