Born on December 10, 1983, in Wylie to parents Estanislao Rodriguez and Benita Rodriguez, Mario was a hardworking man who spent much of his life in HDD construction. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family, he earned the respect of his colleagues through his calm nature and steady presence.
Outside of work, Mario found joy in life’s simple pleasures. A true foodie, he loved trying good food, gathering with family and friends, sharing laughter, and enjoying good company over a social drink. He had a deep love for animals and was known for rescuing and caring for them whenever he could, reflecting the gentle compassion that defined his character. His contagious laugh could light up any room, and his kind, easygoing spirit—rarely showing anger—brought comfort and peace to everyone around him. Mario was always willing to help others, turning ordinary moments into memorable ones with his humor and warmth.
He is survived by his loving parents, Estanislao Rodriguez and Benita Rodriguez; his daughter, Layla; and his siblings Baldemar Rodriguez, Gerardo Rodriguez, Erlizeni Rodriguez, Medeli Rodriguez, Uriel Rodriguez, Marycruz Rodriguez, and Valerie Rodriguez, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Mario will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his contagious laughter, and the love he shared so freely. He leaves a lasting impact on all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
