Mario Consoli, 95, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at Holy Family Hospital. Born in Linera, Catania, Sicily, Italy, he was the beloved son of the late Sebastiano and Lucia (Rapisarda) Consoli. He immigrated to the United States in 1950 in search of new opportunities and a better life.

Known for his strong work ethic and belief in the dignity of labor, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He played a central role in helping establish his daughter Lisa’s restaurant and his son David’s landscaping business, never hesitating to roll up his sleeves for his family.
Outside of work, Mario enjoyed gardening and was a devoted fan of the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots. His family will especially remember the cherished tradition of his afternoon espresso time.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Isabella (Maccarone) Consoli; his loving children, Linda Consoli and her partner Mitch Rodil of Haverhill, Lisa (Consoli) Maroun and her husband Elie Maroun of Methuen, and David Consoli and his wife Karen (Chiara) Consoli of Methuen; his sister, Maria Loiacono of San Jose, California; seven cherished grandchildren, Daniella Domingo and her partner James Medaglia, Anthony Domingo, Andrea (Maroun) Elia and her husband Steven Elia, Alexander Maroun and his wife Brianna Maroun, Amanda Maroun, Michael Consoli and his partner Madison Renken, and Joseph Consoli; and five great-grandchildren, Nora, Celine, Rosie, Theodore, and Oliver. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mario was predeceased by his siblings Salvatore, Giuseppe, Alfio, Sebastiano, and Antonia.
Mario will be remembered for his dedication to family, his tireless work ethic, and his unwavering belief in fairness and helping others. His legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will live on through all who knew him.
