Marilyn Morris

Marilyn Morris, aged 83, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on November 18, 1942, in Cuthbert, Georgia, she was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, later lived in Keystone Heights, and moved to Live Oak in 1997. She worked as an Administrative Secretary at Shands Lake Shore Hospital.

Marilyn was known for her cheerful spirit and her love of bingo and slot machines, finding joy in the game whether she won or lost. A devoted wife, she cared deeply for her husband and always tried to help others. She cherished her grandchildren and was a longtime member of Pinemount Baptist Church in McAlpin, Florida.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dug Morris; her daughter, Mary Anne O’Connor and her husband Ray; her step-daughter, Chrissy Howell and her husband Ricky; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Davidson; her step-son, Robert Morris and his wife Joanna; her sisters, Hazel Crawford, Jimmie Dean Hubbard, and Barbara Moseley; her brothers, Jess Hubbard and Chester “Joe” Hubbard; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy Davidson, her sister Ruth, and her brothers Charlie, Gene, Tommy, and Robbie.
