Marilyn M. Tramontana

Marilyn M. Tramontana, née Ponczocha, age 84, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on August 27, 1941, in Lorain, Ohio, she graduated from Lorain High School with the Class of 1959. For more than six decades, Marilyn worked as a hairdresser, devoting the final twenty years of her career to Dottie's Hair Du in Avon. She found joy in painting, ceramics, shopping on HSN, and gathering with family at their cabin in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph F. Tramontana; her children, Joseph (Lisa) Tramontana, Tina (Michael) Bourque, and Marc (Allison) Tramontana; her grandchildren, Joseph (Candace), Nicholas, Brant, and Grace; her great-grandchildren, Natalia and Adaline; and her sister-in-law, Judy Ponczocha. Marilyn was preceded in death by her triplet grandchildren, Braiden, Brody, and Bryce Bourque; her parents, Edward and Lillian (née McMillan) Ponczocha; her brothers, Edward Jr. and John; and her beloved dog, Bailey.

She will be remembered for her creative spirit, her dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. At her request, private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Lorain County APL, or Luv-A-Stray.
