She was the beloved wife of the late Roy O. Wainwright with whom she shared over 63 years of marriage.Born August 9, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Leo Joseph and Sarah Julia (Cook) Van Maele.Marilyn was a past president of Soroptomist International, Lansdale Chapter. She was employed by Bell of Pennsylvania for approximately 35years, becoming supervisor before her retirement. She had many hobbies, which included crafting, reading and traveling. Her greatest joy wasspending time with her family.Marilyn is survived by her sons Kevin Wainwright and his wife Sherry, Christopher Wainwright and his wife Mimi; grandchildren Ryan Websterand his wife Kelly, Alicia Di Valerio, Ben and Charlie Wainwright; great granddaughters Mc Kenna, Grace and Emma. She is also survived bynumerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Follis.A memorial service for Marilyn will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM.
