Marilyn Ridenour ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Brigham Funeral Chapel - Edmore on Mar. 3, 2026.Marilyn Josephine Ridenour, 66, of Edmore, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, with her beloved husband and daughter Kirsty by her side. She was born on January 8, 1960, in Harbor Beach, Michigan to Romanus Page and Phyllis Prill - Page. Marilyn built a life rooted in love, dedication, and hard work. On September 15, 2008, she married the love of her life, Douglas Ridenour. Their story began when Doug was out of town building bridges for work and Marilyn was working as an auditor for Red Roof Inn- and as they often said, the rest was history. Together they created a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion.Marilyn was the definition of determination. While working full-time, she successfully started and operated her own business - a testament to her drive and entrepreneurial spirit. She had a deep appreciation for history and beauty, collecting and selling Victorian treasures and anything vintage prior to 1980. Each piece she found held a story, much like the life she so intentionally built. She and Doug shared countless cherished moments boating and fishing on their pontoon, making memories on the water that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them. Marilyn had a special love for hummingbirds, watching them with quiet joy, but nothing compared to the love she had for her grandchildren. They were the most precious part of her life - her greatest pride and deepest joy.Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband, Douglas Ridenour of Edmore; her son, Bobby (Jessica) Kelley; her daughters, Kristy Kelley; Candaice (Josh) Ivey; and Miranda (Adam) Ladrig; her brother, Allen (Alma) Page; her sister, Annette Accord; her grandchildren, Marty Kelley, Eleanor Kelley, Zane Ivey, and Whitney Ivey; and her sister in laws, Michelle (Pat) Corley of Panama City Beach, Florida, Peggy (Roger) Fehland.Marilyn will be remembered for her strength, her fierce love for her family, her eye for beauty, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the memories she created so intentionally.A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at a later date. Her love remains - steady as the water she adored and constant as the hummingbirds she so faithfully watched.Care entrusted to Janowicz Family Funeral Home, Edmore, MichiganTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
