Hill, a longtime resident of Royal Oak, passed away on February 23, 2026.On August 14, 1976, she married Thomas Hill, and together they built a life centered on faith, friendship, and service to their community.Marilyn was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Royal Oak and was actively involved in several local organizations. She was a proud member of the Royal Oak Woman's Club and the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, where she generously gave her time and talents. She served as chairwoman of the annual Salvation Army Fashion Show fundraiser, an event she supported with enthusiasm and dedication.Known for her radiant personality and warm spirit, Marilyn enjoyed a wide circle of friends. She loved traveling to Florida, Europe and Michigan, meeting friends for lunch, and staying connected to the community she cherished. Caring and compassionate, she was always willing to give back and lend a helping hand.Marilyn worked for many years as a bookkeeper and retired from Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, where she was a valued and respected member of the team.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Friends may gather beginning at 10:30 until time of the memorial service, 11 am at The Salvation Army Royal Oak Citadel, 3015 North Main St., Royal Oak.Memorial contributions in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Salvation Army Royal Oak Citadel or Michigan Humane.Arrangements entrusted to Wm.
