She was predeceased by her parents, William Cohn and Hannah Daken Cohn; brother, Mark Cohn; her Aunt Lottie Daken; and many other aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, James M. Buran; daughter, Johanna Buran; granddaughters, May Honey and CiCi Cho; nephews and many dear friends.Marilyn was an employee of BOCES/Primary Project. She enjoyed reading, her family and her friends.A special Thank You to all the staff of the Jewish Home on the 6 th Floor South West for their kindness and care during her time there.A Graveside Service will be held on MONDAY March 2, 2026 at 11 AM in Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to gather at the Main Gate [across the street from the Distillery].
