Marilyn "Lynn" Adamisen

October 10, 1938 March 13, 2026

Taylor, MI

Marilyn “Lynn” Adamisen was born on October 10, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to Theodore and Georgia Radtke. She lived in Taylor, Michigan, and passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 87.

Lynn was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Adamisen Sr. She was the loving mother of Paul (Ruth) Adamisen Jr., Dale (Betty) Adamisen, Kathy Cooper (Lou Abraham), and Gary (Sherry) Adamisen, and the dear sister-in-law of Don Plante. She is survived by her grandchildren Paul III, Serena, Philip (Brooke), Nick (Hayley), Tony, Christian, Owen, Matt, Louis, and Trevor, and her great-grandchildren Raina, Jackson, Maddy, Luke, Bentley, Myla, Amelia, and Ellora. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister Jeanette Plante (Don), and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Lynn will be remembered as a warm and welcoming soul whose kindness made everyone feel like family. An avid reader who loved to travel, she took great joy in discovering new places while holding a deep pride and love for her country. She had a special affection for animals and never lost her sense of wonder during trips to the zoo.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching QVC, listening to music of all kinds, and singing or dancing whenever a favorite song played. Camping trips, laughter around a fire, and time spent with others brought her great contentment. To many, Lynn was simply “Mom,” whether by blood or by the way she cared. She welcomed people as they were, with an open heart and an accepting spirit that made everyone feel seen and valued. Her warmth, joy, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
