Marilyn A. Bates

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn A. Bates of Newton Falls, Ohio, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Armstrong and Grace Armstrong (Barnard); and her husband Robert W. Bates. She is survived by: her children, Mark Bates (Sherri), Bobbie Seng (Dave) and Jerri Wheat (Chris); her brother Jerald Armstrong (Judy); and her grandchildren, Jessica (Eric), Emily, Scott and Sarah.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mercy Health Hospice of the Valley.
