She was born in the Nichols section of Trumbull to the late William and Marie Schovanec.She is survived by her husband of 69 years, George, daughters Darlene Lessard and Michele Conroy (David). Nieces and nephews: William Hughes (Celie), Sue McDaniel (Jack), Jan Kearney (Mike), and John Syc (Cheryl), in addition to great nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Ludmila and William Hughes and her son-in-law Robert Lessard.She was a graduate of Harding High School and worked at Singer Manufacturing and Lacey Manufacturing.Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.
