Marie P. Liefke

Marie Patricia Liefke, 75, of Kings Park, New York, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 14, 1950, in Hollis, Queens, to the late Edward and Dolores Richards, Marie was a devoted wife for 51 years to Arthur A. Liefke. She was the loving mother of Jaclyn Thoresz and Allan Liefke, and the adored mother-in-law of John Thoresz and Jennifer Liefke. She is also survived by her dear siblings Judy Palladino, Elaine Lazarto, Joan Gubitosi, Donald Richards, and Barbara Caggiano, as well as her cherished grandchildren Kayla, Madison, Aidan, Jake, and Julia. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan Morrissey.

Marie worked as a bookkeeper for USA Industries in Bay Shore, New York, before retiring. Those who knew her will remember her kind and gentle nature, her constant smile, and her infectious laugh. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her presence in their lives.
