Marie M. (Doyon) Larson, 95, of Bristol, widow of Paul D. Larson, died on March 12, 2026, at Bristol Hospital.

Born on May 7, 1930, in St. Ludger, Quebec, Canada, Marie was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Bernard) Doyon. She was raised and educated in Canada before immigrating to the United States and settling in Bristol in 1950. She worked for many years as an assembler at Bussmann Manufacturing before retiring. Marie found quiet joy in making and painting ceramics.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Diane McGivney and Armand Spardone and Denise and Francis “Butch” Bellini, all of Bristol; a daughter-in-law, Donna Gilbert; five grandchildren, Gina Vaccaro and her husband Ed, Lisa Bernardino and her husband Nuno, Joseph Gilbert and his wife Charleen Amato, Shelly Brown and her husband Scott, and Craig Bellini; six great-grandchildren, Austin Gilbert, Sofia Vaccaro, Max Brown, Leo Bernardino, Olivia Vaccaro, and Collin Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her son, Bruno Gilbert; three siblings, Henry Doyon, Suzanne Gilbert, and Carmelle Pepin; and her former husband, Armand Gilbert.
