She was born in Newark, NJ on November 30, 1944, the daughter of the late Michael and Agnus Hudock.Marie was a loving wife for over 54 years and a loving devoted mother. She loved summer days at the beach, visiting Atlantic city and reading, especially Danielle Steele books.Marie retired from the New Jersey school systems from working as a teachers aid, and she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hudock, and sister, Susan Loupos.Marie is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Joseph Lasiewski, daughter, Julie Lasiewski Acone, son-in-law, Michael Acone, brother-in-law, William Loupos, sister-in-law, Marlene Hudock Kienhofer and numerous nieces and nephew.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, a public viewing will take place between 9:30 am and 10:30 am at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, a Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E Stein Highway, Seaford, and burial and committal services will take place at 2:00 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Marie E Lasiewski, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
