Marie A. Linkes

Marie A. Linkes, age 77, of Toledo, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Toledo ProMedica Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 24, 1948, in Monroe, Marie was the daughter of Theodore and Nicolena (Cicero) Colucci. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1966 and married Michael M. Linkes on January 2, 1971, at St. Joseph Church in Monroe. The couple shared 54 years of marriage until Michael’s passing on July 11, 2025. A longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Marie found joy in playing bunko, sharing lunches and coffee with friends, and most of all, caring for her family.

Family was the center of Marie’s world. She devoted herself to her husband, sons, and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent together, especially the time she shared with Skylar and Lilly. She is survived by her sons, Dane (Stephanie) Linkes of Temperance and Jason (Octavia Amaya) Linkes of Toledo; five grandchildren, Alicia Linkes, Skylar Linkes, Darryl Amaya, Ashley Amaya, and Katrina Lindhorst; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Teddy Ann Colucci.
