Naples, FL

Marianne Schubert, 67, of Naples, Florida, passed away on March 8, 2026, after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Easparro; her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Bob Dow; her partner, Christian Kasper; her nephews and nieces, Ryan and Marielle Dow, Nikki-Taylor Newman and Hunter Newman; and her great-nephews and niece, Caden, Theo, and Everly.

Marianne was an intelligent and spirited woman with a beautiful soul. Kind and respectful to everyone she met, she formed immediate connections and brought warmth to every interaction. An avid reader, she generously shared her love of books. She was deeply passionate about music, food, sports, and animals, and possessed an extraordinary knowledge of music history and sports statistics, especially tennis. She never missed a match and could talk for hours about professional and club tennis with her sister. Many cherished memories were made at the Miami Open, where she would sit for hours watching her favorite players, or cheering on club teams from the sidelines.

Marianne and her partner Christian shared a deep love of food, travel, music, and movies. Their time together was filled with joyful cooking that produced unforgettable dinners, hours spent listening to favorite songs, meditating, and quoting lines from classic films, particularly Woody Allen movies. They found their greatest happiness traveling and exploring new places, especially along the ocean and beaches. Above all, Marianne adored her nieces, nephews, and their children. She never missed a life event and was their steadfast confidant and source of support. Her presence was a true gift to everyone who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and lasting memories.
