February 10, 1946— February 18, 2026
Yucaipa, CA
Marianne McNaul Haynes was born on February 10, 1946, in Upland, California, to Marion McNaul Sterner and was lovingly adopted and raised by Clyde S. McNaul. She grew up with brothers Michael and Clyde S. McNaul, and the family moved from Riverside to Yucaipa, where she graduated from high school. Marianne passed peacefully at home in Yucaipa on February 18, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband Bill.
Her life was defined by quiet strength, grace, and deep devotion to family. While working as a waitress at the historic Harvey House Restaurant in San Bernardino, she met Bill Haynes, beginning a love story that spanned nearly 58 years. They married in June 1968 and settled in Yucaipa, where they raised their two children, daughter Stacie Bartlett and son Bill Haynes. Marianne enjoyed a long career as a claims manager at Beaver Medical Group in Redlands for 24 years, where her reliability, kindness, and attention to detail earned her the respect of many.
Above all, Marianne cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved cooking hearty meals for family gatherings, tending her garden, and caring for the hummingbirds that visited her backyard, often calling them her “extra grandkids.” In retirement, she and Bill traveled the country in their motorhome and took memorable cruises, including a recent trip to Panama, creating lasting memories with their growing family.
Marianne was preceded in death by her mother Marion, adoptive father Clyde S. McNaul, and brother Michael McNaul. She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Bill Haynes; daughter Stacie Bartlett of Yucaipa and son Bill Haynes of Rancho Mirage; six grandchildren, Sydney Lloyd of Tacoma, Washington, Ashlyn Conant of Yucaipa, Gabriel Bartlett of San Francisco, Calysta Bartlett of San Diego, Brandon Haynes of Salt Lake City, and Katelyn Haynes of Corvallis, Oregon; brother Clyde S. McNaul of Yucaipa; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Her open heart, ready smile, and unwavering love continue to live on in all who knew her.
