She was born on January 19, 1939, in Del Rio, Texas. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.A woman of great strength, Yolanda took immense pride in her life and her work. She was a dedicated professional who worked for over 33 years at North Heights and Buena Vista Elementary, retiring at the age of 73. Throughout those decades, she watched many children grow into adults and took joy in seeing them throughout the community. Her family will remember her for her love, strength, and devotion to those she cherished.She is survived by her brother Eddie Espinoza, daughters, Linda Arrañaga (Robert), Cynthia Lafuente, and Sandra Padilla (Jorge); as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.Her family finds great comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Salvador, and her faithful Pomeranian, Zoe, who preceded her in death.The family would like to extend special thanks to Carmen Gomez and Marylou Navarro of Paloma Hospice, and to all the caring staff at La Vida Serena, for their compassion and support.Her family encourages those who knew her to honor her memory by planting something beautiful or spending time with loved ones, celebrating the life and love she shared with so many.A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E.
