Maria Teresa Cuevas Bautista

Maria Teresa Cuevas Bautista, age 77, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. She will be remembered for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and the love she shared with her family and everyone around her.

Maria had a deep passion for cooking and took great joy in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. Music was always close to her heart—she loved listening to it and dancing whenever she had the chance. She also had a special appreciation for flowers, finding beauty and happiness in their colors and fragrance. Maria enjoyed caring for animals and had a fondness for pigeons, parakeets, and chickens, which brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Reyes; her mother, Angelina Bautista; and her father, Jose Isabel Cuevas.

Maria is survived by her loving children: Maria Reyes, Maria Teresa, Luz Elena, Rosa Elia Reyes, and Juan Reyes. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family members who will cherish her memory and the many moments they shared with her. Her kindness, strength, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
