She is a proud veteran of the United States Navy and carried that strength and independence with her throughout her life.Maria had a deep love for her fur babies and found joy in simple moments-especially being out in the sun. She lived life on her own terms, with a free spirit that those who knew her will always remember.She is survived by her daughter, Andria Turbide, and grandson, John Robert Deputy IV; her son, Bobbie Gerald Baker II and his wife, Alli Baker, and their daughter, Mary Michael Baker; her daughter, Katelyn Ferrell and her husband, Jesse Ferrell; her mother, Dina Baker; and her brother, Robert Baker.She was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie Gerald Baker.Maria will be cremated so that she may continue her journey as a free soul, just as she lived her life.
