Maria Gutierrez

Maria “Viole” Gutierrez passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 2, 1944, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love, strength, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She now rests reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Benito Gutierrez, her parents, Dario and Tomasa Perez, her five siblings, and her son-in-law, Jose Ruelas.

She is survived by her sister, Rose (Israel) Gradillas; her children, Jimmy Gutierrez, Sylvia Ruelas, and Tomasita (Steven) Villa; her grandchildren, Ben (Annette), Stevie, and Dario (Amber); her great-grandchildren, Ben Jr. (Karen), Desiree, Luciano, and Adellene; and many nieces and nephews.

Maria’s warmth and quiet resilience will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched. She will remain forever in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.
