In loving memory of Maria Giannakaris of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who departed this world on March 6, 2026 at the age of 90. Maria leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maria leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Argirios; and her siblings, Christos, Spiros and Akilini. She is survived by: her children, John (Jackie) of West Deptford, Gerry (Christineann) of Shamong and Chrisoula of Cherry Hill; and her brothers, Nick (Amalia) of Cherry Hill and Harry (Katerina) of Cherry Hill.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church (615 Mercer St, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
