We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 93, Maria Figueroa of Chelsea, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Figueroa and Maria Mendez DeJesus; her daughter Lydia E. Molina; and her sister Josefina Ortiz. She is survived by: her children, Leticia "Letty" Ortiz of Peabody and Felix E. Perez, Jr. of Chelsea; her siblings, Carlos Mendez and Estelle Milan; and her grandchildren, Julio Quiles, Vivian Quiles, Anthony "Tony" Quiles, Ernesto "Nesty" Quiles, Francisco "Frankie" Quiles, Lovenska "Luna" Quiles, Francisco "Frank" Toro, Alezandra "Sandy" Ortiz, Hector "Tito" Alvarez, Chelsea Alvarez, Maria "Cuqui" Rodriguez, Felix "Cusy" Perez and Leticia "Letty" Santiago.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welsh Funeral Home (718 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Luz de Cristo Church (738 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
