Born on June 1, 1946, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Adolfo Lara and Maria Luisa Moreno, Maria moved to El Paso, Texas, in 1962 to pursue her education and career.A woman of deep faith and professional dedication, Maria spent 38 years in the oil and gas industry. As a devout Christian and a devoted Pastor's wife, she served her church community in numerous capacities, always centering her life on her faith.Maria is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jesus A. Aguilar; her children, Myrna Aguilar Flores (Rey Flores), Mario Aguilar (Melissa Sanchez Aguilar), and Arturo Aguilar; and her siblings, Eva Lara and Hector Lara. She is preceded in death by her siblings Adolfo, Raul, and Beatriz.Her proudest achievements are her four grandchildren, Marissa, Michael, Miranda Aguilar, and Julia Flores Sanchez (Gio Sanchez) and great-grandmother to Avery, Maddie, Amberlynn, and baby Raphael.She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love for Christ and her family.
